Animals that live in Chad are elephants, buffalo, lepords,lions, hyena, ostrich, manatees warthog, giraffes, and hippopotomous. Elephants can run up to 25 m.p.h. and are good swimmers. Male elephants can weigh up to 11,000 pounds and can be10.5 feet tall. mantees are large cynderically shaped animals somtimes called sea cows they are an endangered species

Land features of Chad include Lake Chad and Emi Kousi (highest peak) There is a desert zone in the North, an arid section in the center, and a fertile savanna in the South
